You tried to pull away from the ropes binding you, twisting your hands until they burned. The steel back of the chair was cold, yet soothing to the gashes on your back. His footsteps echoed through the room as he came down the stairs.
How had this all happened? Why you?
Because you had fallen for his façade. And now he would make you suffer in return.

~Flash Back~

It was the middle of summer and you had to run errands for your boss. So, here you were in the cool Starbucks waiting for the coffee. You were in short shorts and a floral tank top.
No one was behind you in line, so the man behind the counter took his sweet time, to your dismay. It wasn't like you had any important work or anything. Your eyes wandered the shop to the only other man in the coffee house.
He was blonde, with wavy hair and a strange curl. His purple eyes gazed up to you, locking with your [e/c] eyes. He smiled innocently and waved. You checked on the man who was making the big order. He was still on the third coffee, showing he was far from done.
You sat across form the cutie and flashed him a smile.
"Hi, I'm _______." His eyes flashed something sinister, but you failed to notice.
"I'm Matt. Your name is quite beautiful."
You giggled childishly and started a friendly conversation, unsuspecting of his true intentions.

~Flash Back Over~

He trailed his finger across you jaw, tracing the bone.
"So beautiful," he muttered. Soft lips pressed against you ear, sending warm tingles through your body.
"I've loved you for so long. Seeing you be the eye candy of all the other men, not mine, it's so agonizing. Luckily you spotted me while I was watching you. Your routine is quite predictable. It wasn't planned, but it ended out well."
Matt's lips travelled to your neck. You bit your lip, reminding yourself how wrong this was. He was a stalker that had kidnapped you and taken you God knows where.
"_______..." He whispered.
"Please, let me go… it doesn't have to be like this." Tears streamed out from beneath the blindfold.
"Oh, but it does, dearest." There was the sound of metal scraping against metal and your heart beat rapidly. Matt had taken something from the tray next to you. He had used everything on there to do his worst to you. What would it be this time?
A blade pressed to the underside of your throat.
Everything that I've loved has left me. But you won't. Not if I have anything to say about it." You shook your head slightly, enough for him to see the gesture, but not cut yourself.
"I can stay. Please, Matt."
"It's just too late for that." Matt kissed you passionately, distraction you as a blinding pain seared your neck.
Blood poured through the gash, Matt pulling off your blindfold.
Tears were streaming from his eyes, a wide and psychotic grin on his face. You tried to speak, but the movement only caused more pain and blood to gush from the wound.
"Now we can be together forever, dearest _______. I love you so much, and now you can never leave me."
As the world faded, your grip on life slipping, his last words echoed in your head. They were the goodbye as you slipped away.
"You can never leave me…"
